Overview

 Annapurna Panorama Trek is another best way to explore ethnic villages of the Annapurna trekking region. The trail goes through the dense forests of rhododendron offers an awesome vista of the Annapurna Himalayan series. This is the easiest trek among other Annapurna province trek on the way to Annapurna Base Camp Trekking. This trek is suited for the trekkers who have limited time to stay in Nepal and want to discover mountains.

 

The trek is full of the beautiful scenery of pretty nature and silver gold mountains in the zenith, even over aged people can also do this trek as the altitude, not more than 3200. You will get the opportunity to enjoy with nature and cultures as there is no possibility to get altitude sickness, lets you amuse with the close-up views of Himalayas in the Annapurna region on its best. 

 

The trek is starting from Nayapool walking through the off-road then hiking over the rocky trail in the surrounding villages of Tikhedhunga and Ulleri. Most of the track is up and down in the green forests of different plants. Poon Hill is the vantage point to behold the outstanding panorama of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Fishtail Himalayan ranges, as the major attraction of this trek. On the day of hiking up to Poon Hill, need to wake up early in the morning and begin to hike in the cliff crossing by the 2,324 steps. Similarly, Poon Hill is the main point to see the glory of golden sunrise glistering in the pinnacle of Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri. It feels real that you are doing yoga and purifying your soul. We are sure that if you choose this trek for spending your vacation then it will satisfy your travel spirit.

Your journey to Tadapani from Poon Hill is the fool of adventure as you go up and down in the slippery trail somewhere. Itinerary

Day 01- Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu 

After your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, our airport representative greeting you and do a warm welcome. Then you will transfer to the hotel by our staff and do check-in. Our representative will brief you about the following days’ activities.  This day you can rest at your hotel and go around as per your choice. 

Day 02 – Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing 

On this day after breakfast, our tour guide comes to your place and take to sightseeing around the UNESCO world heritage sites. You will visit historical, religious, and cultural places and tour guides will explain the fact and story about the places as you will get enough time to prepare for your trekking. You will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square which has a series of pagoda styles by different gods and goddesses. Living Goddess Kumari is the main attraction of this place established by Jayaprakash Malla in 1957 BS.

You also are attracted by different types of wood carvings carved by the different artists in that period of time. Then you will visit Swayambhunath Stupa also known as monkey temple located in the hillock can observe the whole Kathamndu city and mountains on the horizon. Then drive to Boudhanath Stupa, large stupa make you feel wonderful. Pashupatinath Temple is the main Hindu temple you go to a further visit. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva; you will meet with Baba and can see the Hindu cremation system in the bank of the holy Bagmati River.  Then back to the hotel and rest, overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast included. 

Day 03 – Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m/2984ft) Duration: 7 hours 

In the morning we will drive to Pokhara either by private or by tourist bus, depend on your choice. We will see more scenic verities of several lush green fields, typical villages, river valley, and typical life standard of locals. Pokhara is a beautiful city mixed with natural facts like Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and other mountain series flowing to make beautiful city Pokhara. Phewa Lake is the main attraction besides other mountain sceneries, overnight stay at the hotel. Breakfast included. 

Day 04 – Pokhara to Hile (1570m/5150ft) Duration: 5 hours 

In the morning after breakfast, 1-hour drive to Nayapool via private jeep or car and begin to hike up to Hile.  This is the first day of your trek and approximately five hours walking along the off-road will reach Hile. We go through the different villages like Lumle and Birethati and we do check our TIMS and Permit in the Annapurna Conservation Association Project office. Furthermore, we will climb through and get in the beautiful village Hile, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included

Day 05 – Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m/9348ft) Duration: 7 hours 

In the morning after breakfast, we will trek uphill passing by 3,243 steps up to Ulleri. Ulleri is the beautiful typical village in the settlement of the Magar ethnic group set at the altitude of 2070m. Then the trail goes through the rocky trail inside the dense forests of rhododendron and will get some other villages on the way. The track crossing by the Banthati and Nange That situated in the different locations of the ABC trek.

If you do trek during the spring season all the forests covered by beautiful rhododendron flowers and the scenery of the jungle and mountains will more splendid mixtures of colorful nature. From Ghorepani, you will catch up on the spectacular views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Fishtail mountain series, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included. 

Day 06 – Hike up to Poonhill and trek to Tadapani (2610m, 8560ft) Duration: 8 hours 

This is the most significant day for Annapurna Panorama Trek. We wake up early morning and hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m) and complete your dream to see the golden peak towering mountains on the horizon. It will be an awesome experience while you will see the golden color of sun glistering in over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m) Mt. Annapurna (8091m), Fishtail (6793m), Nilgiri (7040m) Annapurna South (7219m), etc.

We will spend our time to observe mountains and taking pictures for further memories. Then back to the tea house and eat breakfast and set the journey towards another destination, Tadapani. On the way, we will cross dense forests of bamboo, rhododendron, and other plants. If you are doing this trek in the spring you will see the 15 kinds of rhododendron flowers blooming in the forest. From Tadapani can also see the up-close view of Mt Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Fishtail, overnight stay at the tea house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included 

Day 07 – Trek down to Ghandruk then Drive to Pokhara, 4 hours hiking and 2 hours drive 

After breakfast, we will descend to Ghandruk via Bhainsikharka crossing by the small stream on the way. Ghandruk is the settlement of Gurung ethnic species. And, it is also the main spot to watch beautiful mountains on the horizon. After easy descent from Ghandruk reach to Khimche and take the vehicle and drive to Pokhara, overnight stay at the hotel, breakfast, and lunch included. 

Day 08 – Pokhara to Kathamndu 
This day we will back to Kathmandu either by vehicle or by flight it is on your choice. 

Day 09 – Departure Day 

After your great experiences of Annapurna Panorama Trek, collecting awesome memories you will return back to your home. Approximately, 3 hours before your flight time our airport representative will farewell you and transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport and fly back to your home.
